The most creative day in Sarasota, Florida!

PINC promises a day of intellectual indulgence, featuring 10 thought-provoking speakers from every discipline imaginable (and unimaginable) who will immerse the audience in innovation and creativity, leaving all with a renewed sense of community.

How do we create a distinctive visual brand system to commemorate the 10th anniversary of PINC, an immersive one-day experience dedicated to inspiring learning, creativity, and community?

Our Ask:

We introduced a spectrum of vibrant colors to evoke the spirit of the day. In every asset, style frame, and design, we aimed to reflect the transformation each attendee experiences during and after the conference.

Our Solution:

Silhouette of a person with one arm extended outward and the other hand on their hip, standing on one leg.

Meet the Team

I project managed a team of 2 graphic designers and 2 motion designers.

2 Back-to-Back Hurricanes and 3 Weeks of Lost Production Time.

Thanks to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton we needed to adapt…three times.

After creating several schedules, I discovered the best way the designers digested the deadlines was through a color-coded Gantt Chart.

A detailed project timeline or schedule chart showing various tasks, milestones, and deadlines across multiple weeks and months. The chart is color-coded, with different tasks and phases listed in rows, and time periods marked along the top, indicating the progress and schedule of a project related to a creative or production process, such as designing, developing, and delivering assets.

Throughout the semester, I noticed that graphic designers became overwhelmed if they viewed the deliverable list because they had a faster turnaround than the motion designers, so I started a different system where I looked at the chart and told them what was due each week.

This is the schedule that we referred to. It’s a snapshot of it, so it’s hard to read, but it is meant to show you how diligent we had to remain to make the deadlines.
